1.Data Protection Information

 

The customer shall note that the use of the RIKA Firenet Portal requires saving his personal data.

 

The data saved include the following identification details:

Name, address, phone number, purchased RIKA stove, e-mail address and also data and information about access and activities on the RIKA Firenet Portal.

 

The data is saved for the purpose of using and providing the available wireless control of the RIKA stove, but also for identifying faults and the source/cause of the latter and for establishing any possible behaviour which is in violation of the contract, but also to ensure the continual development and improvement of the functions of the RIKA Firenet Portal. 

 

The data is saved for legal certainty and traceability for the duration of active use of the RIKA Firenet Portal, but at most for a period of up to 30 days after informing RIKA of the user setting of the RIKA Firenet Portal. 

 

The CUSTOMER shall agree specifically that said data are stored by means of and via the RIKA Firenet Portal or auxiliary system(s) for the aforementioned purposes and are saved for the said period on the servers of RIKA’s service providers and are processed by RIKA or the third party appointed by RIKA in the manner required for implementing the present agreement – in particular may be collected, sorted, evaluated and saved.

 

The disclosure rights, amendment rights, rectification rights, limitation rights, right to object and cancelation rights to which he is entitled with respect to personal data as prescribed by law can be exercised by the CUSTOMER by making a written request to RIKA at the following address:

The CUSTOMER shall be clear and aware that if specific data is deleted it is no longer possible to use the services of the RIKA Firenet Portal.

 

This permission granted by the CUSTOMER until cancelled at any time shall be considered granted within the meaning of the relevant legal provisions for data protection and the consent given therein to the said extent and to the said conditions also extends to the organisation of the RIKA group of companies.

 

If the CUSTOMER believes that the processing of his personal data by us violates the applicable data protection law or his data protection claims have been violated in another way, it is possible to complain to the competent supervisory authority. In Austria, the data protection authority is responsible for this.

 

2. Our cookie policy
